A Very Special Man – a talk by John Martin-Jones

During its long history, St Peter’s Church in Belgrave has seen the arrival and departure of more than sixty rectors and vicars, from Stephen de Lucy and Robert de Dumholme to Reverends Llewelyn, Jones and Quine.
Possibly one of the most interesting and influential of these was the nineteenth century minister, Richard Stephens. In his talk, “A Very Special Man”, John Martin-Jones will look at Rev Stephen’s life in the changing parish and the way he led the church to meet the social challenges of the time.
If you have seen John’s earlier talks for Belgrave Heritage Tust you will know that he is a mine of information about St Peter’s, so why not have a natter with him afterwards, over biscuits and tea or coffee? For more details please look at the poster.
